2.The type of personal information we collect

Your mobile app sends certain data to our IT systems or the IT systems of service providers we use. Based on the data sent from your mobile app, we provide you with a service or content that we deliver directly from our IT systems or via the IT systems of our service providers to your vehicle. We currently collect and process the following information:

Vehicle identification number (VIN): one unique vehicle number.
Contact data: your email address or phone number is collected when you register on Hongqi mobile app to create your account. Your name and phone number when you make one maintenance appointment service.
Verification data: your password or personal identification number (PIN).
User name: Your user name in the Hongqi mobile app.
GPS location: GPS location of your mobile device.
Authorized user information: name and his or her phone number of you authorize to remote control your vehicle.
Mobile device data：the device’s , mobile device brand, model, type of mobile device operation system and version of mobile device operation system.
Data generated by your vehicle: when the collection of your vehicle data is switched on, the following data or categories from your vehicle could display in the app in real time:

a). vehicle status data （e.g. the status of the doors (lock status) as well as the status of the windows, lights, tyres, seats, Air conditioning, seat belt status）
b). vehicle health data (e.g. Current total mileage, Battery status, Environmental temperature, Real-Time Vehicle Speed)
c). Battery status (e.g. Charging status, Range, Subtotal mileage, speed, running time, electricity consumption, Controller system status, configuration version).
d). Location history: the GPS positions of the vehicle every 10 seconds.

3.How we get the personal information and why we have it

Vehicle identification number: we collect your vehicle identification number to clearly identify your vehicle. We will not directly transmit to any other service provider. Under certain circumstances, your vehicle identification number will be transmitted in anonymised form with a different alias.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is legitimate interest.
Contact data: when you sign in Hongqi mobile app, you need to create your own account with email address or phone number and password. We use these data to verify your identification when you want to sign Hongqi mobile app.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is the necessity for the performance of our contract with you, as the app would not function without these data .
Verification data: your personal identification number (PIN) is used to verify your identification when you want to use some functions.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is the necessity for the performance of the contract with you.
User name: you can create one user name for your mobile app account.

GPS location: when you enter into service network page, we will collect GPS location of your mobile app to display nearby vehicle dealer store.pp

Mobile device data: we collect your mobile device data to verify which system you use. We will not directly transmit to any other service provider.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is the necessity for the performance of the contract with you.
Vehicle data: we collect your vehicle data to display the status of your vehicle in your mobile device, when the related services in your vehicle have been activated. If your vehicle has been activated the corresponding functions, you can control the control elements integrated in the vehicle, e.g. open or lock your vehicle, window, light, boot, engine hood, Charging, Air condition.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are your consent.

4.How we share your Personal Data

We will share your personal information in those cases that are necessary to fulfill our obligations, provide a service to you or in those cases where we are required to do so by law or by enforcing an authority or court order or permitted by applicable law.

We engage the subcontractors to help us deliver our services to you. Below you will find some examples of such:

User ID: when we send notification message in your mobile app with URORA software development kit (SDK), we transit your user ID to the service provider system, the purpose is to send notification message via sdk. The used ID is created by the system and is not included any your personal information.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is your consent to provide message reminder function.

The service provider information:

Phone number: when we push message to you with Application Programming Interface (API), we transit your contact data to the service provider system. The service provider’s system is hosted in Singapore. The data will be stored for 30 days.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is your consent to provide message service.

Contact Data: when you make one maintenance appointment service, we will send your contact data, e.g. name and phone number to your selected Norwegian service provider. The service provider’s system is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is the necessity for our ability to enter into a service contract with you, as we would not be able to convey the maintenance service without this data.

5.How we store your personal information and for how long

We store your data as long as required to provide our services to you or to fulful our legitimate interests, such as to correct faults or to optimise services. We only store the data that we need for the relevant purpose, or we create an alias or anonymise the data processed beyond what we require for the provision of our services to the extent possible.

we will delete your data, which details about data can be found in the section two “The type of personal information we collect” , after you submit the de-registration request in your mobile app.

6.Whether your data will be transmitted to a third country

Some of the recipients of your personal information may be located or have relevant activities outside the EU / EEA, e.g. in the Republic of China, where data protection laws may provide a different level of protection compared to the laws of your jurisdiction, and where there is no adequacy decision from the European Commission.

Once the data has been transferred abroad, we will inform you as far as is necessary in accordance with applicable laws. With regard to data transfers to such recipients outside the EU / EEA, we provide appropriate security measures, in particular by entering into data transfer agreements that include standard contract clauses adopted by the EU Commission with the recipients or by taking other measures to provide an adequate level of data protection.

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification- You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. you can enter into the Setting and Privacy Page in your mobile app to rectify your nickname, password, mobile phone number, email address, PIN number, emergency contact information, etc.

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. you can enter into the account setting page to cancellate your account. After you confirm your cancellation account, we will erasure your related personal data.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing- You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. You can change certain privacy settings in your vehicle menu and use the menu to deactivate data processing at any time. Note that such revocation only applies to future processing. Any processing carried out before the revocation is not affected. you can enter into the settings and privacy page to withdraw your consent.

Your right to data portability- You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
